My Little Sticky IPad Kids

History is told from one person’s perspective. Sometimes they don’t get it right.

Imagine marrying the man of your dreams, living in a cute little cabin in the woods, and your stepchildren pretending you’re their personal maid.

My life was great. Besides from the fact that my stepchildren hated me. These chubby children have not had a mother figure in their life since they were born. And their dad, my husband treated them like royalty. He never asked them to do anything and they turned out spoiled. I still love them nonetheless. they are the only children I have. One day we had friends coming over for dinner, so I asked the children to help me clean up their toys. They rudely said no. And ran to cry to their father.

I tried to show them how to wash dishes, or to do the laundry. But they were glued to their screens the entire time. I told them I would give them a weekly chore allowance if they would, but they still refused. One day I suggested we all went on a walk. At first they didn’t want to, but eventually their father convinced them.

We were just walking in the forest when they started running ahead. We asked them to slow down, telling them that they might get hurt. I got a phone call and asked them to wait for a minute. When I answered, no one replied, so I thought it was a scam call. My husband borrowed my phone to check it and when we looked up, our children were nowhere to be seen.

We started calling their names in search, but got no response. We were so worried that as soon as we got home, we filed a missing person reports and hoped for the best. Two weeks ago by and we lost all hope. I was so sad. I missed them. Even if they came back as sticky iPad kids again.

Then one random Tuesday they show up at our door. Fit, healthy, and smiling. I asked them what happened and immediately called their father. We listen to the story together.

Apparently, they got hungry after running so they slowed down. They saw a house made of candy, and tried to eat it. But quickly found out it was plastic. They opened the door found a bunch of workout equipment and a coach. They told us that the coach said she had been waiting for them. They described her daily routine and I was so surprised and happy for them. Every morning they would wake up at 8 AM instead of their usual 1 PM. They would eat a healthy breakfast of eggs and avocado. Then they would go help their coach in her garden. After four hours of garden work in the hot sun, they would eat lunch together. The coach helped establish a stable workout routine for them. And after two weeks they looked like totally different people. The children told us that it was hard at first and they were scared. But they eventually realized that it was good for them. You see the coach told them that they would go back to their family after they became good. They had no idea what that meant in the beginning. But they began to realize it slowly.

We canceled the reports and went to visit the coach again to thank her. When we reached the location the kids said, the house wasn’t there. No one was insight. I guess it was a mystery. But we are very thankful to have them back and healthy.

What Would Happen

What would happen if you would swallowed a bell?

It would tickle your tummy and jingle all day long.

You would ask yourself “Why?”

You’d remember that it was Christmas time and you wanted to be festive.

But then you’d realize, it was just an old bell and you would need a bow to make it festive.

You would then swallow a ribbon to tie a bow around the bell.

Then you’d ask yourself why?

After you’d remember it was to make the bell festive.

Then you would realize, you had no gifts to go with the bell and the bow.

So you would swallow some gifts.

Then you’d wonder why you did that?

No one knows.

You’d remember your reasoning and find it to be illogical.

After everything, you would swallow a sack.

And then ask yourself the wise question of why?

But then, of course, it was to have a sack to put the gifts in, with the bell and the bow.

You would swallow a jingle bell to tie around the sack next.

Then you’d wonder why?!?

And the never-ending cycle would start all over again.

Maybe next time don’t swallow a bell. 🔕 😉

The Great Crisis

Hi, my name is Mika and my best friend is named Nia. We always play with each other every day. We play mermaids in the pool. We play with my Barbie dolls. We even play with Nia’s little brother, baby Ted. My life was perfect until I found out that Nia was moving all the way across town! To live at her grandmother’s house while her parents renovated a house in Florida. They own a business or something.

The next morning, Nia’s grandmother comes to our house to pick her up from our sleepover. We both were so sad and we were both crying. It’s only for a summer, we both were telling each other. Nia’s grandmother was comforting us and reminding us that we could FaceTime anytime.

Life without Nia in the house right next to me was boring. I laid on my bed. I ate my cereal alone. I played with my dolls alone. I got so bored I even tried to play mermaids alone. I was just being lazy in my bed when I had an amazingly spectacular idea! I need a dog! It could play with me. We could play fetch. We could swim in the pool together ( I don’t think it would know how to play mermaids). Maybe I could teach it to play with my dolls with me.

Bright and early the next morning, I went to my parents room and told them my amazing idea. They immediately shut it down… but I bargained saying that I would take care of it and I would do the dishes for a month. I even told them I already knew what I was gonna name it, Noel! Noel would be the best boy dog in the world. We drove to the adoption center the next day and I got Noel!

For the next three months, Noel was my best friend! We played together all the time. We did everything I imagined and more! But sometimes I still missed Nia. Though most of the time hanging out with Noel, I forgot about Nia.

A week before the first day of school, Nia returned! I couldn’t believe it. She ran over to hug me, but it was really awkward. We haven’t seen each other in so long. I really didn’t know what to do. This was a big problem! I’m only seven years old. I only have one body and my heart is tiny! How am I supposed to have a place in my heart for Nia and Noel at the same time?

I decided to sleep on it. And in the morning, I had a great idea. We could all play together! Sure sometimes it could just be me and Nia, or me and Noel. But most of the time, we could all play together! That was the biggest crisis of my 7 and 3/4 years on earth. It turns out, maybe I can have a place in my heart for both of them. They can share my heart. 💗

What would happen?

What would happen if you were to swallow some snow?

You probably regret your decision and remember that snow is cloud poop.

Maybe you’d swallow some coals. Then wonder why?

But then you’d remember, you swallowed the coals to warm your toes that got cold when you ate that snow.

Next, you’d probably swallow a candle to make sure the coals stay warm.

But then you’d wonder why?

And you would remember that you needed the candles to make sure the coal would stay warm.

You forgot to lit the candle so you also swallow a lighter.

You ask yourself yet again, why?

In order to cool down the lighter, you swallow some more snow.

You’d forget why, and the cycle would start over again.

Maybe you’d ask yourself why you ate snow in the first place.

The Other Side

Two kids watched each other through the glass. Reflecting their movements. One itched her nose and the other did the same. Their differences were not limited. One could see that they were complete opposites, despite their same movements.

One girl put on makeup, while the other draped her beautiful face with a cloth. While one girl took off a dress she tried on and put on jeans, the other painted herself with paint. The girl smiled and the other followed.

It turns out there was only one person. Looking into a mirror while getting ready. One figure was the girl physically. The other was her real self dressing up to hide what she thought was all the ugly parts of herself.

No one could tell they were the same person from the outside. But when someone would look deeper inside, the similarities from the two people would click. In the end, the girl was just covering up herself with tons of opinions and ideas that weren’t true. She thought these things would make her feel and look better, but she was covering up the most beautiful parts of herself.

A Different Kind Of Planet

I couldn’t wait for her school field trip to a different planet. Me and my friends went into a tiny spaceship as the chaperone pressed buttons to teleport. “Ready?” he said, smiling. “Here we go!”

Wow, I can’t believe we got here so fast. “Here we have people who walk instead of float.” The chaperone said, opening the window. We were on the beach. I took a deep breath and immediately salty air attack attacked my lungs. The chaperone continued “They like drinking a clear liquid called water.” The spaceship floated above the ocean until we found a creature with a rectangular metal box pointed towards us. Everyone started laughing. The creature had a nut shaped head. It had a weird shaped body and was barely wearing any clothes. The chaperone told us the creature was called a human and it was holding something called a “phone”.

Suddenly, the window closed and we went into the ocean. It was very quiet. We accidentally slammed right into a purple creature. “Ah a special creature. They will live forever.” They are like us. They can grow back limbs. I learn the creature is called an octopus.

“What a weird, beautiful world!” I recall at the end of the trip. “It really is.” The chaperone replied. “Well it’s time to leave planet Earth. Let’s go back to Venus.”

Shiny Things

Once upon a time, in a cozy little forest, there lived a tiny bird named Elise. Elise loved to collect shiny objects, but she would always forget where she put them. One morning, while looking for some shiny items, she meet an eagle named Mr. Screech. Mr. Screech was known for his smarts, but he was also known for his crusty musty frown.

Elise greeted the eagle with a bright “Good morning!”, despite her fear. Mr. Screech cleared his throat in response. Elise needed help though, so she explained her problem to him. “I keep losing my special stuff,” she said. “I find them, but then I can’t remember where I put them!” Mr. Screech, interested by the bird’s forgetfulness decided to help.

“Follow me, little bird,” the eagle said softly. He led Elise to a large maple tree. Its branches looked as if they were touching the sky. “Look,” the eagle said. He pointed to a single branch, then placed a leaf on it. “Every time you find something,” he said, “put it on a different branch. That way, you’ll know which one is new.”

Elise began collecting new shiny acorns, leafs, and rocks. She listened to the eagle’s advice, placing each item on a different branch. Soon, her collection grew, and she never lost another shiny thing ever again. She thanked the wise eagle, her heart happy.

From then on, Elise and Mr. Screech became best friends. Elise learned the importance of organization, and Mr. Screech learned that even the meanest eagles can find happiness in helping others. The forest echoed with the cheerful chirps of a bird and the loud screeches of an eagle. The End.

Ye Old Sam

The old lighthouse keeper Sam, squinted at the roaring sea. It was his last night on the job, and the storm outside seemed to reflect the feelings in his soul. He’d spent 60 years working at the light, with loneliness and just the sounds of waves, but tonight, a sense of accomplishment filled the air.

Sam poured a cup of coffee for himself, the aroma a familiar comfort. It reminded him of his wife Eleanor, who had passed away years ago, her smile always lit up the room. The lighthouse had been their world, and now he felt a pang of regret leaving it behind.

He remembered the multiple times he’d guided ships safely through the waters. The faces of grateful sailors he’d seen in the distance. The quiet satisfaction of a job well done. He’d seen everything from huge storms to sunrises painting the sky with bright colors. Each moment held a special place in his heart.

The storm grew and the lighthouse shook in the wind. Sam walked to the lamp room, the strong beam cutting through the darkness. He remembered the ships at sea, relying on the light, and a flicker of hope rose in him. He knew he was doing his part, even in this last night.

As dawn appeared, Sam left from the tower. He packed all his few belongings. The lighthouse now silent, dark, and empty. He stepped out into the morning air, ready to approach whatever awaited him, and his heart finally filled with a bittersweet sense of completion.

Why I should go to Daiso with Lana before school starts.

I should go to Daiso with Lana before school starts for three main reasons. Number one is that, for my birthday you said that we would go, but we didn’t go yet. Number two is that, I would like to go hang out with Lana this summer. Going to Daiso would be a great hangout because we could use each others insights one what to buy. Number three is that, I could go to buy school supplies for next school year. Lana could tell me if something is cute, and I could tell her if she would would need it or something similar to that situation.

For my birthday, you said you would get me some things from Daiso. We haven’t gone yet. When I asked you about it, you said we would go in the summer. So I would like to use that, for this opportunity to go hang out and talk with Lana. And shopping would be very fun while hanging out. We could help each other pick out cute stuff. When I go to Daiso with you or Irene, I can rarely find cute stuff that I like. Lana would help with that a lot. And we both like each others advice and opinions when buying things.

Also, I haven’t bought a lot of school supplies yet. Actually, I only have some notebooks and some pens. I could go to get some binders and some more cute notebooks because I only have some. I also need another glue stick and other school things. In fact, Daiso is having a back-to-school sale with limited edition stuff this year. What makes them different from other stores, is that they have cute usable stationery for very affordable prices. They even have a whole 3 aisles dedicated to great supplies.

We will even bring our own money. And pay for our own items and selections. In conclusion, I would love to go to Daiso with Lana soon. I really do not want to have zero friends like you, in the future. So please let me go to Daiso with Lana in the summer. I’m not crazy, not now that I’m sick but when I get better. Maybe next week, with a mask? Please don’t let Irene come if we go. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make your daughter very happy.

The Legend Of the Sprinkles

“Today is the day!” cheered Julia, to all of the thousand members of her family. The legacy was coming. They were about to be free from their bag and sprinkled to their fate. Dropped over cookies down to the tummies of happy humans. The bag ripped open. One scoop after another, a giant human eventually got all of the sprinkles onto two cookies. Up and out of the bag Julia went, but oh no! Not all her family members made it. Julia and some others slipped through fingers onto the chairs.

“We have to do something!” yelled Julia.

A sprinkle in the background cried, “No, we must accept our fate now!” Everybody expected the worst, to fall into cracks or wiped by a towel and be rinsed down a shadowy dark drain.

Julia started jumping up and down. “Hurry everybody, let’s jump. Maybe humans will notice us.”

Everyone gasped. No sprinkle has ever tried to do that.

But one yellow sprinkle named Geo ran over to Julia. “That’s a great idea!” he said “I like it.” So they jumped. Seeing them together another sprinkle followed. And then another. And then another.

The giant human crouched down low. “What? Are these sprinkles moving?”

The giant human rubbed his eyes. “I probably need sleep.. anyway I shouldn’t waste these sprinkles. I’m gonna put them on this cookie.” It turns out there was another cookie waiting for us.

A little happy human extended her hand out to take it. “Cookies! Cookies!” Julia smiled at Geo, as they entered its mouth. The end.
