Once upon a time, in a cozy little forest, there lived a tiny bird named Elise. Elise loved to collect shiny objects, but she would always forget where she put them. One morning, while looking for some shiny items, she meet an eagle named Mr. Screech. Mr. Screech was known for his smarts, but he was also known for his crusty musty frown.
Elise greeted the eagle with a bright “Good morning!”, despite her fear. Mr. Screech cleared his throat in response. Elise needed help though, so she explained her problem to him. “I keep losing my special stuff,” she said. “I find them, but then I can’t remember where I put them!” Mr. Screech, interested by the bird’s forgetfulness decided to help.
“Follow me, little bird,” the eagle said softly. He led Elise to a large maple tree. Its branches looked as if they were touching the sky. “Look,” the eagle said. He pointed to a single branch, then placed a leaf on it. “Every time you find something,” he said, “put it on a different branch. That way, you’ll know which one is new.”
Elise began collecting new shiny acorns, leafs, and rocks. She listened to the eagle’s advice, placing each item on a different branch. Soon, her collection grew, and she never lost another shiny thing ever again. She thanked the wise eagle, her heart happy.
From then on, Elise and Mr. Screech became best friends. Elise learned the importance of organization, and Mr. Screech learned that even the meanest eagles can find happiness in helping others. The forest echoed with the cheerful chirps of a bird and the loud screeches of an eagle. The End.
