A Different Kind Of Planet

I couldn’t wait for her school field trip to a different planet. Me and my friends went into a tiny spaceship as the chaperone pressed buttons to teleport. “Ready?” he said, smiling. “Here we go!”

Wow, I can’t believe we got here so fast. “Here we have people who walk instead of float.” The chaperone said, opening the window. We were on the beach. I took a deep breath and immediately salty air attack attacked my lungs. The chaperone continued “They like drinking a clear liquid called water.” The spaceship floated above the ocean until we found a creature with a rectangular metal box pointed towards us. Everyone started laughing. The creature had a nut shaped head. It had a weird shaped body and was barely wearing any clothes. The chaperone told us the creature was called a human and it was holding something called a “phone”.

Suddenly, the window closed and we went into the ocean. It was very quiet. We accidentally slammed right into a purple creature. “Ah a special creature. They will live forever.” They are like us. They can grow back limbs. I learn the creature is called an octopus.

“What a weird, beautiful world!” I recall at the end of the trip. “It really is.” The chaperone replied. “Well it’s time to leave planet Earth. Let’s go back to Venus.”
